The KINO CITY Group of Companies starts the implementation of the project – KINOCLUB: Culture, Education, and Communication

29/04/2011

An important event regarding our KINOCLUB project took place on April 29. We went from the planning to the operating stage: the construction of the first multiplex cinema center within the framework of the project. It was encouraging that we were able to connect through a telecom space bridge (teleconference) to the meeting on culture in Penza, presided by the Chairman of the Government, and report on the implementation of the resolutions on cinematography approved by the State Council, which the Chairman began to administer at the beginning of February! As the popular saying goes… “No sooner said than done!”

PRESS RELEASE

The implementation of the project – KINOCLUB: Culture, Education, and Communication - initiated by the All-Russian political party, Yedynaya Rossiya, started in the city of Maykop (the Republic of Adygea) on April 29. During the telecom space bridge (teleconference) in Penza, where the Prime Minister, V.V. Putin, was holding a meeting with cultural workers, Aslan Tkhakushinov, President of the Republic of Adygea, and Eduard Pichugin, Manager of the KINOCLUB project reported on the construction of the multimedia educational multiplex cinema center.

The multiplex center is being built within the framework of an investment agreement with the KINOCLUB Group of Companies. Investments exceed 182 million rubles. Pre-engineered technologies using aerated concrete, metal frames, and glass covers will be applied during actual construction.

The cinema center, whose surface area measures 4,800 sq. m, will be built on the site of a former summer theater in the Park of Culture and Leisure. Four cinema theaters and 620 seats have been designed for this new leisure facility. The following technologies will be installed: modern film and digital equipment enabling spectators to watch 3D movies, demonstrations of educational programs, organization of live broadcasts of concerts, sports events, awards ceremonies, teleconferences, etc.

“Adygea is a pilot region, where the implementation of the large-scale party project of Yedynaya Rossiya – KINOCLUB – will start. I am convinced that the new cultural and educational complex will be a wonderful gift to all the resident and visitors of Maykop.” stated Aslan Akhakushinov, President of the Republic of Adygea.

Eduard Pichugin, President of KINOCLUB and Manager of the project – KINOKLUB: Culture, Education, and Communication – attended the ceremony inaugurating construction work on the Maykop cinema center.

During the teleconference with Penza, where a meeting was being held on the construction and reconstruction of cultural objects under the chairmanship of the RF Prime Minister, V.V. Putin, Eduard Pichugin remarked: “The project to create a network of film clubs across Russia constitutes a key target in modernizing cultural and educational facilities. Maykop is one of the first cities to benefit from this project, but it was not selected by chance. The only cinema theater in the city center was equipped according to standards applied in the seventies of the previous century. Here, in Maykop, we felt that our concept was fully understood, that is, that we could create not only a cinema theater, but a modern-day cultural center.
