Eduard Anatolyevich Pichugin

Eduard A. Pichugin, the general director of Lenfilm Studios.
He is a board member of the Union of Cinematographers in Russian Federation; President of "Kinoalliance", the National Association of the Cinema Professional Organizations; the board member of the Producers Guild of Russian Federation. He has been engaged in promoting movie presentations and building cinema theaters since 1999. He holds a degree as a Candidate of Economic Sciences, wrote and defended the thesis on “Cash Flow Management in the Cinema Industry” within the framework of his major – “Finance and Credit”. He is a founder of the federal movie theater chains "Kronverk Cinema" and "KINO CITY".

The Saint Petersburg State University of Cinema and Television

Eduard Pichugin has been the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University since 2011. The Board of Trustees is actively involved in developing the university, modernizing its material and technical base, and attracting cinema and television specialists to take part in educational processes.

The All-Russian State University of Cinematography named after S.A. Gerasimov

Eduard Pichugin has been an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Producer Skills and Management of the All-Russian State University of Cinematography named after S.A. Gerasimov in Moscow (VGIK for short) since 2008.

The Saint Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economics

At present, Eduard Pichugin is also Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Finance and Banking of the Saint Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economics (ENGECON for short).

The Saint Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economics (ENGECON) has introduced a new major before entrance examinations – Economics and Management in television and cinema companies. This new field of study was initiated by the Yedynaya Rossiya Party within the framework of the KINICLUB project: Culture, Educations, Communication.
